The "Consulting" in Therapy & Consulting
I do not just treat OCD and anxiety. I teach other people how to understand it.
Whether you are a clinician looking for ERP consultation, an HR department that wants to understand anxiety in the workplace, or a school that needs to recognize OCD in students, I can help. This is what 13+ years of specialization looks like when it leaves the therapy room.
Three ways to work with me
Each option is built around a specific outcome, not a vague conversation about "wellness." You tell me what you need. I build it.
Clinical Consultation
For therapists and clinicians
You have a client with OCD or anxiety and you are not sure if you are doing ERP correctly. Or you have never done ERP and want guidance before you start. Or you are stuck in treatment and need a second set of eyes.
I provide individual and group consultation for clinicians at all experience levels who want to sharpen their ERP skills or get unstuck with a specific case.
What you get
- Case consultation on OCD and anxiety presentations
- ERP treatment planning and hierarchy building
- Feedback on exposure design and response prevention
- Guidance on complex or treatment-resistant cases
Format
Individual sessions (60 min) or ongoing consultation packages. Virtual only.
Inquire About ConsultationWorkplace Training
For HR teams and organizations
Anxiety is the most common mental health condition in the workplace, and most managers have no idea what it actually looks like or how to respond. OCD is even less understood. Your well-intentioned "mental health day" policies are not enough.
I deliver training that gives your team practical knowledge about anxiety and OCD in the workplace, not platitudes about self-care.
What you get
- Understanding anxiety and OCD beyond the stereotypes
- Recognizing when an employee is struggling (it rarely looks like what you think)
- Responding effectively without enabling or dismissing
- Accommodation best practices that actually help
Format
60 to 90 minute workshops, virtual or in-person. Custom content based on your team's needs.
Inquire About TrainingSchool-Based Education
For educators and school counselors
OCD in children and adolescents is frequently misidentified as defiance, attention-seeking, or ADHD. School counselors and teachers are often the first adults to notice something is off, but most have no training on what OCD actually looks like in a classroom.
I provide education that helps school professionals recognize anxiety and OCD presentations, understand what is happening, and know when and how to refer.
What you get
- How OCD and anxiety present in school-aged populations
- Common misidentifications and what to look for instead
- When to refer and what to say to parents
- Classroom accommodations that support without reinforcing avoidance
Format
Professional development workshops, staff in-services, or conference presentations. Virtual or in-person.
Inquire About EducationWhy hire a therapist for this?
Because the gap between what most organizations know about anxiety and OCD and what is clinically accurate is enormous. Generic "mental health awareness" training rarely covers OCD at all, and when it does, it usually reinforces stereotypes (hand washing, organizing, cleaning) that have nothing to do with how most people actually experience the condition.
I bring 13+ years of specialized clinical experience into rooms that have never had access to it. I am direct, I do not use jargon unless I define it, and I have been told more than once that I make difficult clinical concepts feel accessible. That is the entire point.
