Online OCD Therapy Across Wisconsin
Specialized OCD treatment from anywhere in the state. No waitlists. No long drives.
Finding an OCD specialist in Wisconsin is harder than it should be. Most therapists treat OCD the way they treat general anxiety, with talk therapy and coping strategies that feel helpful in the moment but don't actually move the needle. ERP is different. It is the gold standard treatment for OCD, and it is what I do. Whether you are in Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, Eau Claire, or a small town where the nearest therapist is an hour away, I can work with you.
Why working with an OCD specialist matters
Wisconsin has excellent therapists. But most of them are generalists. They treat depression, relationship issues, life transitions, and anxiety all in the same way. OCD is not general anxiety. It requires a specific type of treatment called Exposure and Response Prevention, and ERP requires specific training that most graduate programs do not provide.
I have spent over 13 years working with OCD. It is not one of twenty things on my list. It is what I specialize in. That distinction matters because the wrong approach to OCD does not just fail to help. It can actively make things worse. Reassurance from a well-meaning therapist feeds the OCD cycle. Processing the content of intrusive thoughts gives them more power. ERP does the opposite. It teaches your brain that the discomfort is survivable and that the thoughts do not require a response.
If you have tried therapy before and it did not work, that does not mean you are untreatable. It likely means you were not getting the right treatment.
What I treat
OCD and anxiety-related conditions respond well to evidence-based treatment. Here is what I work with:
OCD
Intrusive thoughts and compulsions that hijack your day. ERP is the gold standard treatment and it works.
Learn moreAnxiety
When worry becomes your full-time job and avoidance becomes your only coping strategy.

Your body runs a full emergency drill for threats that are not there, and you start avoiding everything that might trigger the next one.
Learn morePhobias
Specific fears that have grown beyond reason and started limiting where you go and what you do.
Learn moreEmetophobia
The fear of vomiting that quietly controls your eating, your travel, and your social life.
Learn moreHow telehealth works in Wisconsin
No commute, no waiting room
All sessions happen over secure video through Jane, a HIPAA-compliant platform built for healthcare. You log in from wherever you are. Your couch, your home office, your parked car during a lunch break. It works the same whether you are in downtown Milwaukee or rural Ashland County.
The same quality of care
ERP translates exceptionally well to telehealth. Research consistently shows that online ERP is just as effective as in-person treatment. In some cases, it is actually more effective because you are doing exposures in the environment where OCD actually shows up, your real life, not a clinical office.
You can be anywhere in Wisconsin
I am licensed in the state of Wisconsin, which means I can see anyone who is physically located in WI during our session. It does not matter what city or county you live in. If you are in Wisconsin, we can work together.
What you need to get started
A private space, a device with a camera and microphone, and a stable internet connection. That is it. Jane handles the rest, including appointment reminders, secure messaging, and session links.
Investment in your treatment
Initial assessment: $250
Your first session is a thorough clinical assessment. I need to understand your specific OCD presentation, not a textbook version of it. We map your triggers, compulsions, and avoidance patterns so that treatment is built around what is actually happening for you.
Ongoing sessions: $200
I am a private pay provider. I do not take insurance directly, but I provide superbills upon request at the end of each month that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients recover a meaningful portion of the cost. You can check your out-of-network benefits here.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are you located in Wisconsin?
I am licensed in Wisconsin and practice exclusively via telehealth. That means I can see clients anywhere in the state, from Milwaukee to Superior and everywhere in between. You do not need to come to an office. We meet on a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform through Jane.
Do I need to be in Milwaukee or Madison to work with you?
Not at all. Because all sessions are virtual, you can be anywhere in Wisconsin. Many of my clients are in areas where finding a trained OCD therapist locally would mean a long drive or a long wait. Telehealth removes that barrier entirely.
How do I get started?
Book a free 15-minute consultation through Jane. No obligation. We will talk about what is going on and whether working together makes sense for your situation.
Do you take my insurance?
I am a private pay provider. The initial assessment is $250 and ongoing sessions are $200. I provide superbills upon request at the end of each month that you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients recover a significant portion of the cost this way. You can check your benefits here.
What types of OCD do you treat?
All of them. Contamination OCD, harm OCD, relationship OCD, scrupulosity, "just right" OCD, health anxiety that crosses into OCD territory, and every other subtype. OCD is OCD. The content changes but the mechanism is the same, and ERP addresses the mechanism.
How often do we meet?
Once a week is the minimum for OCD treatment to be effective. Twice weekly is preferred, especially early in treatment. The more frequently we meet, the less time your anxiety has to reset between exposures, and the faster you build momentum. We will figure out what works for your schedule and situation.
